training intensive — Aug 2018

Take a quick look at the pages of history and it’s easy to see that America has a long record of racial division and injustice. Although there has been much progress through the years, the nation remains in a state of unrest today. Anxious people all across the country are just hoping that the next racially-motivated flashpoint doesn’t erupt in their city. In those same places, a groan can be heard, because, in the words of Martin Luther King, Jr., “Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.”

It’s not OK to simply ignore the issues and hope the problem goes elsewhere. God is raising up a family of believers who long to see the work of the Cross elevated above the racial divide.

God is writing a new page in the story right now, and you can be part of it.

This August, we invite you to the Justice House of Prayer DC to Ascend the Hill—a 4-week house of prayer intensive in Washington, DC.

Ascend the Hill is a unique in-depth experience of teaching and training designed to build a culture of prayer, worship, and community that can turn around systemic injustice and touch the heart of the nation with the worth of Jesus.

From Capitol Hill to a red hill in Georgia

In Dr. King’s famous I Have A Dream speech, he declared, “Let freedom ring from Stone Mountain in Georgia.” Why there?

In 1915, men gathered just outside of Atlanta on top of Stone Mountain. There, they burned a cross for the first time. There, the Ku Klux Klan was reborn and began to advance a racist agenda that still lingers today.

As part of the Ascend the Hill experience, the team will travel from Washington, DC to Atlanta, GA to gather with tens of thousands of believers at Stone Mountain for OneRace on August 25.

What if Dr. King’s dream was more than poetry? What if it was prophecy? A new generation of prophetic dreamers is emerging who will stand united and lead a divided nation to find healing at the Cross.

Special focus during Ascend the Hill will include:

  • Restoring the Dignity of All People
  • History of Racism
  • Exposing Systemic Injustice
  • Contending Prayer that Impacts Society
  • Flash Points and Current Events
  • Racial Reconciliation and Healing
  • American Revival History Tours

You will receive biblical insights, revelation, and practical tools from national prayer and missions leaders, while getting hands-on experience as we contend together for breakthrough in racial division.

You are an important part of completing the Great Commission, however, racial division stands in direct opposition to fulfilling God’s dream of a family made up of every tribe, tongue, nation, and people. Learn how to be part of the solution. Apply now!
